Because the Lumin operates using a specialized high-powered UV light source, it is very effective in disinfecting your mask and humidifier water chamber. This is the same type of light source used in hospital operating rooms. UV disinfection eliminates 99% of bacteria, mold, fungi and viruses on your CPAP equipment, keeping your CPAP equipment free from germs that can cause illness. In addition, UV light is the safest disinfection option on the market, since it does not use ozone during the sanitizing process.
The Lumin will provide daily sanitation of your CPAP supplies to remove germs and bacteria; however, it is recommended that you regularly wash your CPAP mask and headgear as needed to remove facial oils, dust and residues.

Great device for killing germs. UV light is used in many applications for this purpose. With the Lumin, I can keep all the parts on my CPAP machine germ free, quickly and efficiently. Place items inside the drawer, close it, press the start button and in 5 minutes all items are sanitized. The are not hot so the items can be removed and used immediately.

Easy to use a quick to sanitize. Set up is easy. I had to spend some time of setting up my battery back though. A lot of wires. I went to u-tube to finally figure this out.

After using a CPAP cleaner that produced a horrible Ozone odor in my hose (I sent it back), I had given up hope of finding a cleaner that cleaned AND didn't create a bad smell. This one is amazing! In 5 minutes, you can clean a tank, the hose, or mask. I use it while getting ready for bed and have a clean unit every night. No more dish detergent and water cleaning or getting soaked while wash the hose! If it works for operating rooms in hospitals, it'll work for you. Love it!

I love that you clean mask, put in Lumin and will be disinfected like hospital clean!! Best to do of morning though because it helps not breathing the smell of the system. But, I feel better using it for sure!
I never had to
I never had to deal with this before, now that I have to I was so confused about should I get this or shouldn’t I!? My husband told me to get it because he doesn’t want me to have any upper respiratory infection if it wasn’t clean right. This particular model not only cleans my CPAP, it can also clean different things like your keys your cell phone your iPad your Earplugs… ETC… So far I found it’s worth the money. Because I use devices like this at my work and I know how amazing they are. And I know tonight I’m going to sleep and Know I’m safe! This product is so quick and easy within 20 minutes in five minute intervals I was able to clean several different things!
